Midcontract crisis

     In case you were wondering why I didn’t write recently I can tell you that I’ve been at a loss myself. 
     I could define a few reasons for this. 
     Being busy is not one of them; it is after all the lamest excuse. 
     To say that I had nothing to write about wouldn’t be true too. I could have written about Earth Hour in Male, about Italian Invasion, my cancelled vacation and all the frustration it caused or about the weather. The truth is I do not really feel like sharing all these things. 
     I believe it’s the midcontract crisis, at least I call this so. Giving names doesn't change anything, or does it? 
     Four months has passed, four months lay ahead. Surprisingly these equal periods of time do not feel the same. First half flied away; nevertheless I can’t help but feel that there won’t be end to this second part of my time here. Nay, it’s not bad. But day after day less new experiences come and those that come seems to be petty. You know it’s a small island and small islands are good in small doses. I am trying my best to keep my mind open, to dwell neither into reading nor into routine.
